Matthias Savignac

Matthias Savignac has been President of the Education and Solidarity Network since 2015. A teacher by training, specialised in helping pupils who are struggling, Matthias got involved in the mutualist movement very early on by joining French healthcare mutual MGEN in 2007, as a delegate in the French department of Isère. Elected MGEN’s national administrator in 2011, Managing Director in 2013, and National Delegate in 2015, Matthias Savignac has now been the organisation’s Vice-President since 2019. Since 2015, he has been delegate for international issues at the FNMF, the Fédération française des mutuelles de santé, and Vice-President of the Association internationale de la Mutalité (AIM), which comprises 60 healthcare mutuals and health insurance companies in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
