Masaki Okajima

Masaki Okajima is Vice President of Education International and Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee of Education International. He started his career teaching in elementary schools in Ishikawa, Japan, in 1982. He joined JTU as a newly employed teacher and became an active member and union representative at the school and prefectural levels. He was elected as a member of Central Executive Committee of JTU in 2006 and as President in 2018. He also is the President of Japan Teachers’ Mutual Aid Co-operation Society.
