Blog Action Day: Mobilise for quality education now!

published 25 April 2013 updated 26 April 2013

Blog Action Day, which takes place every year on October 16, is a big chance for high visibility for one important global topic, as bloggers from different countries, interests and languages blog about it on the same day. Vote now to make sure that education becomes this topic!

To determine which topic that will be, a poll is held on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/questions/10151279841382016/), with voting closing on April 30. Currently, "Schooling the World: Educating for a Sustainable Future" has the second highest number of votes. Let's mobilize to make it the most voted upon issue! That gives us until April 30 to get as many supporters of quality education to cast their vote.

Please push this out as broadly as possible, to your members, your networks, your friends, and your community! If quality education gets the most votes, we can get the world talking about what it means to really ensure everyone’s human right to a quality education for a sustainable future and put forward our plans for achieving it.

And of course it also gives your own blog a chance to join the thousands of participants ( http://blogactionday.org/participants/) and be heard by the world!

Vote here before April 30: https://www.facebook.com/questions/10151279841382016/

Let us know you voted by dropping us a line at communications@ei-ie.org- we'll keep you informed!
